2018 Alabama Writers Symposium honors three writers April 19–20

Please join us on Thursday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Monroeville Community House to honor three Alabamians who have distinguished themselves in Alabama arts and letters. 

Honorée Fanonne Jeffers, recipient of the 2018 Harper Lee Award 

Michelle Richmond, recipient of the 2018 Truman Capote Award

Dr. David Cowart, recipient of the 2018 Eugene Current-Garcia Award
